These terms cover your use of iroiro reader, a Japanese reading app. By using the app you agree to them.

The service

iroiro reader lets you read leveled Japanese texts with tap-to-view definitions, grammar notes, and translations. We add an annotation layer on top of real, public-domain and open-licensed source texts, plus a small clearly-labeled set of original graded texts.

Your account

You sign in with your email through a one-time link. Keep access to your email secure, since anyone with it can sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Subscriptions and billing

• Some content requires a paid subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
• Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us. Your subscription auto-renews until you cancel.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Canceling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
• Refunds are handled by the store under its policy.

Acceptable use

Use iroiro reader for your own personal language learning. Do not copy, redistribute, scrape, or resell the app's content or features, and do not try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

Content and sources

Source texts are used under the public domain or their open licenses, with attribution shown in the app. Our annotations, translations, and software are ours. Your saved words and notes remain yours.

Disclaimer

iroiro reader is a learning aid provided "as is". Definitions and translations are generated to help you read and may contain errors. We do not guarantee the app is uninterrupted or error-free.
